Centennial Wheel Opening Hours
The Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier welcomes visitors daily with scheduled operating hours designed to provide ample opportunity to enjoy stunning views of Chicago and Lake Michigan.
- Monday to Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
The Centennial Wheel operates year-round and does not have any regular closure days. However, hours may vary during special events or holidays.

Accessibility Facilities at the Navy Pier Centennial Wheel
Navy Pier offers complimentary wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis through its Guest Experience team (a valid photo ID is held during the rental). Visitors can also request accommodations in advance using Navy Pier’s Accessibility and Accommodation Request Form, at least two weeks before their visit.
The Centennial Wheel itself is wheelchair accessible: elevators connect Pier Park to the boarding platform, and staff are on hand to assist guests using wheelchairs or mobility devices getting in and out of the enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas.
Accessible parking is available in Navy Pier’s West and East garages, with designated spaces near multiple entrances, and paratransit drop-off and pick-up points with ramps are located throughout the Pier. For any other accessibility needs, contact Navy Pier Guest Services in advance.
